I purchased a German Shepard form Live Oak Kennels in 1991. She was an animal that Live Oak took back at 6 months from an undeserving owner. My children were elementary school age at the time when Queen Alexis of Texas "Alex" came into our lives. She was the most loving, intelligent, and protective dog I've ever been around.
