After my visit, I was sent a bill in error. I had funding available to cover my portion and Live Oak did not access it correctly thru my insurance. The bill was turned over to collection in error with an additional $70 added to the original bill. I have been trying to call and speak with someone daily in their billing department for a solid 2 weeks now. I have left my messages on every call and have failed to receive a call back from anyone. I called ahead to ensure that the office had the correct allergy patch test. Went in for appointment Monday to get patch test and was assured I was getting the one I needed. Went back two days later for initial reading. Went in today for final reading just to find out I was given a completely unrelated test. I told everyone on Monday I was there for one thing and one thing only and was assured that was the test I was receiving. This office lied to me from the start. I am a patient of Dr Ramirez and couldn't be more pleased with the treatment, tests and information he has provided me. Every other allergy specialist I have gone to told me there was nothing they could do to help me with my allergies and sensitivities and suggested that I just take pain killers...not what I wanted to do. When my daughter was suffering from allergies & asthma, Dr Arastu & staff were very kind and understanding of her needs. They explained everything I needed to know and how to care for her health issues. Staff answered questions there and returned calls when needed. Thank you, Live Oak Allergy & Asthma Clinic!
