Amanda has been doing my hair for probably 20 years and I can’t recommend her and her salon enough. Since moving out of Texas back in 2022, I’ve struggled to find anyone who does as good of a job. I recently had an awful haircut in Boston, several inches shorter than anticipated and it was cut so strangely that my natural curl/wave pattern was completely gone. Not happy with the cut at all, hair was left very choppy. Was supposed to have a slight A line with the back a bit shorter than the front. The cut I was given is the other way around with front shorter. Left with a blob of hair in the back that just looks unfinished. Really sucks when you are paying good money are a simple cut and it’s horrible.
I got my color done with Abby and I’m so happy with it. She always seems to know exactly what I want, even when I can’t fully explain it or I’m being a little indecisive. She takes her time, listens, and makes sure everything feels right before she starts, which I really appreciate. I also have a pretty sensitive scalp and curly hair, and she’s always so gentle and careful, which makes the whole appointment way more comfortable. I had such a great experience with Allison! I came in wanting to cut off all of my dead ends and remove the extra color left in my hair, and she did an amazing job. She spent the first 15 minutes really consulting with me and listening to exactly what I wanted, which made me feel so comfortable I was honestly nervous about going shorter with my hair, but she absolutely nailed it! She styled it beautifully, and I ended up loving the final result even more than I expected.
