There aren't many places where ya can discuss Carlton Mellick III, Joe R Lansdale, death metal, and horror movies with the owners allthewhile surrounded by gory shirts, VHS tapes, decals, etc. It's the equivalent of visiting 5 or 6 really cool merch tables at a horror convention. Super nice owners, and is nearby the Carolina theater and some good restaurants. Definitely worth the 45 minute drive for this horror freak.

I have been shopping with the owner for years via conventions and ebay. Seeing her finally succeeding with her business in a brick and morter store makes me ecstatic. She always has a wide variety of stock, you never know what new goodies she has in store for you when you shop with her. Its simply one of those places you walk into and lose your mind and yell "Just shut up and take my money!".
I love the selection and the variety. I can never go in and not make a purchase. Most of the time I have to make two or three transactions because I find more! If you are a horror fan in the area and you haven't made a visit yet, you are missing out big time!
If you're looking for anything macabre, this is the place to go! I love it!
If you're even a little bit of a fan of horror or exploitation cinema, and if you find yourself in the Raleigh-Durham area, make a trip to downtown Durham and visit this shop. Outstanding selection of movies for all formats (including VHS!), t-shirts, posters, CDs, and other memorabilia that speak volumes on both the proprietor's true love of this stuff and her deep knowledge of what appeals to the horror fan. Had the pleasure of meeting the owner today of this amazing shop while visiting Nevermore. If you are a fan of horror or just like neat things, do yourself a favor and visit this amazing place!!!
