If I could go lower I would. They lack of care and caring has cost me my younger sister. Cynthia Mathias was a patient of Dr. Heigle's for many years. She repeatedly told them about her bladder problems and the abdominal pain. All they did was give her meds for a UTI and told her to drink cranberry juice. After many visits to the emergency room for the pain, we managed to get into UAMS's Family medicine clinic. They found a prolapsed bladder, diabetes and bladder cancer. Dr.Hiegel is one of the best doctors I have ever used but his staff leaves a lot to be desired. His nurse doesn't respond to follow up needs very well. I picked up a set of prescriptions supposedly to cover April, May, and June but when I went to pick up the pills to cover May I noticed the last two scripts were to be filled the middle of June. I called a week ago regarding the problem and ask to be told when I could expect I could pick up a script to cover May. So far no word so I tried to text a reminder and to date nothin... read more
I've been going here for about 2 years. Everyone in the clinic has always been very friendly and prompt. Dr. Hiegel is an awesome doctor! Wait time is usually super short!
I have seen Dr. Hiegel since they were in the old office. I can not say enough positive about him. He is friendly, listens, discusses treatment options and then creates a plan with you. He truly deserves 5 stars.
