I had a family emergency and needed to reschedule an appointment for the first time. Instead of offering support or understanding, Little Rock Counseling charged me a $175 late fee, which feels unreasonable for a single, unforeseen situation. When the business office asked my therapist, Amanda, if she would waive the fee, she declined, saying it was her “boundary.” While I respect the need for policies, this response felt rigid and unsupportive during a difficult moment. I am not one to leave reviews, especially negative, however my husband and I felt so unheard that I feel the need to share. I do not recommend seeing Allan, unless you want to feel judged, confused, and unheard. My husband and I had been talking about going to therapy together and was even recommended by Allan that we come together when my husband had a session with him back in January. Fantastic. Our therapist was very knowledgable and gifted in being able to help others. Would highly recommend!
My counselor was Whitney Norris, she was the best therapist I have ever had. Obviously who works for you is very subjective but she was able to help me heal from so many bad habits I had. I moved and one of the hardest parts was stopping my sessions with Whitney. Highly recommend. She is incredibly good at what she does!
