Perfect place to escape and find peace. The cabin is cozy, the fireplace is amazing. Fully in love with this place.

We stayed at Cabin #4 during the last week of September, just as the Fall colors were starting to peak. These are gorgeous cabins on a serene lake. The only noise you will hear at night is the wind rustling the leaves and nearby Lake Superior. No water and electricity, but you can visit Van Riper State Park which isn't terribly far away. Definitely plan for the hike-in, especially for Cabins 4 and 5 which are much farther away. Stayed in cabin 1. Everything is perfect about the cabin except the windows should have a cross breeze. Meaning, the windows should be across from each other for a breeze to go through. I does get warm. Otherwise we loved the cabin and the privacy!
We were staying at cabin 2, it’s a fantastic place to stay and the inside of the cabin looks just like the website. They have fishing close, hiking trails, great views and a truly off the grid feel. Here’s some advice: You’re off the grid here, there’s no internet at all. Drive across the street to the other campground and hike to the beach for 5G, it’s not far.
