Little Mountain Academy has been the best thing my son has ever done in education so far, surpassing any skills he has gained in the public school system. He has learned how to write extremely well for his age, think critically, and analyze texts well beyond all expectations we had when he joined classes at Little Mountain Academy. My daughter has enrolled in the program of Little Mountain over one year. I am glad that she made a big progress in her English writing and I will register a program for my son later.
My two daughters have studied here for several years, and the program has greatly improved their academic performance, especially to writing. The personalized approach to writing has helped them develop their own writing styles and it helps a lot for their daily classes. The current UBC-based location requires long commuting time, so having a location outside UBC would be preferable.
I am writing this review with disappointment, especially after spending over $2,500 with this center. I normally do not leave negative reviews, but I feel it is important that the management team is aware of our experience. My son currently attends a private school and has consistently tested at a Grade 5 reading level despite not yet being in Grade 3, so it’s not his learning issues.. My child goes to LML and he picked up learning to read books at early age. Highly recommend to other early learners their reading and writing programs.
