We visited in August. It rained everyday for 5 days. The area was beautiful though. We could hear elk and hawks. The sky was dark and we did some astro photography on a clear night. The yurt was freezing. Even with the stove we had to stay under the blankets for warmth. It was quite a long hike in for people who pack way too much stuff. The road there would be rough on vehicles too.
