A very big thankyou to the midwives and after hours doctor. We were recently visiting from out of area when we had concerns about our baby late at night. We were worried as first time parents and not being able to access our local hospital. We were seen promptly and treated with great care, knowledge and reassurance despite a busy night in the hospital. Very grateful.
My husband cut his finger open and needed stitches, they made us wait for nearly 5 hours and still we left without getting seen too. Im disgusted, they are incompetent of being called a hospital. A treatment that should have taken 20min max never happened. It was 1am in the morning when we decided to leave and we plan to go elsewhere to receive treatment. Completely hopeless.
Monday 22/09/25 10:00am Two older women who were working in reception were disgustingly rude in the emergency department. Triage nurse was understanding and lovely as well as the rest of the doctors and hard working nurses behind the ED doors. However, the two older receptionists were an absolute let down and outright nasty and sarcastic women. They need to be held accountable for their behaviour as it is completely unacceptable. If the tables were turned they seem like the type to escalate matters. Which I will be.

Great drs and nurses, my mum has been twice and they've been very thorough and treated my mum with so much respect and actually care for patients 😊
