Super helpful staff, good facilities.
This club has a damp, stale odor. Poor air quality and circulation. Makes me feel sick to my stomach when there due to the dank smell, therefore I ended my membership. But, if it weren't for this reason, it would have been for this reason: The club's underlying logistics warrant scrutiny. If the YMCA has exceptions, then label your bathroom doors accordingly. Sandpoint YMCA allows men in women's locker rooms. We used to use the swimming pool here but I no longer feel comfortable or safe bringing my young daughters here.
What started as a Christian organization has now turned into a woke abomination. This particular location has publicly made it clear that they will allow MALES into FEMALE spaces, putting young children in danger. Ironically they state that they "stand firmly against bias, hatred and discrimination in any form..". What could be more bias and filled more with hatred for woman than letting MALES pretending to be women in women spaces? Our family was looking for good Christian organizations in the area and we were very disheart... read more
