I was without a dentist and had a dental emergency that I knew required an extraction. I called the Bayview / airport office at 2 pm on Wednesday (01/04) and was given an appointment for 9:15 the next morning! The dentist did a fine job repairing the tooth I'd chipped. Unfortunately, their policy for a standard cleaning requires 2 appointments, which wasn't explain when I made an appointment: the first one is for a consultation and the second for the actual cleaning. ... I've never had a cavity, my teeth are great. And besides, the dentist had already peered long enough into my mouth to repair the above mentioned tooth. I checked online and called to see which dentists are approved for the insurance I have. I called Bayview Dental Associates, 3665 Bee Ridge Rd, Sarasota, FL and told them what insurance I have and I want to be sure they take that insurance, since they were listed as being approved They checked and said they do accept it and I tried to schedule an exam and standard cleaning and asked them to confirm there is no copay for the exam and the cleaning as indicated on my plan. Today both my wife and I had our teeth cleaned by Janet Taylor and she did the best teeth cleaning that I have ever had in my entire life and I am 58 years old. I do not give a review like this unless it is earned and I am willing to pay for your teeth cleaning if she does not do a great job. Now what do you think? Best cleaning ever! I NEVER met her before today and she is someone that I would follow if she left. She is that good.
