Whatever you do,do not buy this company's 10 PC torx socket set,I purchased one set because I have always held this company and their tools to high standards,and I'll always try to go with lisle tools vs competitors tools,well not anymore look at my review on amazon for the video on that product,I sent that set back for replacement was sent three exact sets of same set all with the same issue,each torx socket was never finished being bored out they had thick pcs of star shaped metal in the middle which not only makes the too... read more

Purchased a telescopic pen magnet. Magnet was used to locate a bolt that fell inside of a engine block. When attempting to locate bolt the magnetic part separated and stayed on cam shaft. I had to call a mechanic to locate magnet and retrieve. I was trying not to have the motor pulled would have cost over 2000 dollars. I was charged 250 dollars for the service call and work to retrieve the magnet from within the block. Just wanted to share my experience with Lisle warranty. I purchased a double flaring tool many years ago from Princess Auto. Yesterday while making some brake lines I broke a 3/16 adapter. After speaking with a very pleasant receptionist (no answering machine), she instructed me to email a photo of the part to sales. Within an hour I got a response saying the tool has a lifetime warranty, and if I took it back to princess auto they will replace it.
