Staff was very nice about fixing what had happened to my cat and their mistake, though I won't be taking my animals back here
I adopted 2 senior cats as a pair, two weeks after I got them one developed an eye infection, she was eating and drinking and me cleaning it was helping it calm down. The other cat developed one as well and she couldn't eat or drink and was throwing up everything she took down instantly. After 2 days she grew weak and was unable to move. I called around and this was the only place that could take her on such a short notice. I brought her there and was seen by a Dr.Morrigan. She had a bad attitude like my cat was an inconveni... read more
Compassionate, first-class animal care The staff at this hospital is excellent. Not only they treat all pets with love and compassion, they even care for animals that they did not treat. I had to take one of my pets to an emergency clinic and had to be put to sleep. On a later check-up for one of my other pets, Dr. Scheib asked my husband how our other pet was doing. He told him what happened and Dr. Scheib looked really concerned. Later that week, we received a card from them, expressing their sorrow for our loss. How thoug... read more
okay service I have exotic pets. This was the only vet hospital around my area that examined them. I put my trust and faith in this practice and the vet. I had gone to them for 6 months and had one of my pets go in for surgery. The vet told me that he had never lost this type of pet during surgery before. I was very skeptical about it but I took my pet in for the surgery anyways. About two hours later, I got a phone call that he had died during surgery. That made me sit and rethink about trusting them. I had taken another on... read more
OUTSTANDING!! I've been taking my own dogs and my foster dogs to the Lisbon Road Animal Hospital for several years now and have always found the entire staff to be kind, compassionate folks with an emphasis on quality care. Busy busy place but I have never been turned away when one of my dogs have had an emergency. As they have added new vets over the years it's been sometimes hard to see someone other than Dr. Clark but I can tell you from personal experience EACH of the vets provide the same level of service.
Sympathy Card Charles Schibe and his crew sent a sympathy card to my mom when she sadly had to put her Lab/Shepherd mix dog to sleep last September he was 13 yrs old. These people are the greatest there. They have payment arangments that you can do with them also.
I left here after a couple of visits!!!! I saw 3 of the 4 vets in this office and after each visit at this office(other than the initial one), I thought I was in an episode of the 3 Stooges. My cat developed diabetes AFTER he got a shot here for skin allergies which I discovered later could cause diabetes in animals. Then, when I brought in my cat because he seemed to be declining, I was left for 20 minutes in a room with no one checking on me while they were waiting for blood test results....I was surprised at this, because... read more
My husband and I have been bring various animals to Lisbon Road for many years now. In 2008 I had a bad experience with bringing my cat there and was leery to go back. However with the rest of our animals being treated there my husband convinced me to give them another chance. In the meantime we added a St. Bernard to our family, who did receive excellent care there, until it was time for us to say goodbye. On August 18, 2015 we made the appointment to have our 9 year old St. Bernard put to sleep. My husband and I, along wit... read more
