Early in my transition, I went to my pcp to discuss a problem I was having. Talking to my pcp was horrible, but I got a recommendation to see Lisa Wood. I was so embarrassed to be there, but she did all the right things to make me feel comfortable, such as asking me what name I like to go by. In the two appointments I've had with her, she was able to resolve the problems, and I left the appointments with my dignity intact.
