Amazing pediatrician! Yes, it is difficult to schedule with her because everyone wants to book with her, but that has nothing to do with her wonderful bedside manner. Dr. Simons is competent and very experienced but most of all, she is patient, compassionate, and great with kids!
Doctor for me and my little Brother since we moved to Florida probably until past 18. Always remember him being very friendly and accommodating and getting you an appointment and in if you needed to be seen. Would recommend Much thanks
My son Josiah just loves Rachael Ray she has been the best pediatrician for us and I recommend her to any child . She has so much compassion and she's really willing to help in any way that she can best pediatrician ever
I'm leaving a review for other parents like myself that rely on them to make decisions. We had to leave behind our beloved pediatrician when we moved... Why was he beloved? Because he set the gold standard: engaged, asked questions, listened. Spoke directly to the kids to check in, a wealth of knowledge and resources. She’s ok, she can be short and gets annoyed by your questions sometimes. I do feel like she blows me off sometimes but my biggest complaint is of Pediatric Associates. My children have been going to the Wellington location for the past 9 years, in the last 4-5 years it has been nothing but issues to get in to be seen. Every single time I call there is nothing available. I’m always offered an appointment in 3 days, for a sick visit! She is sweet and does listen to any concerns but my biggest complaint is of Pediatric Associates. We are forever grateful to have been referred to Dr. Leitner when our son was born. She is incredibly knowledgeable and has a wonderful bed side manner (especially for new parents who are constantly on edge). On two separate occasions our son saw other doctors due to scheduling conflicts, and on both occasions, when we brought our son back to Dr. Leitner, she corrected diagnosed their misdiagnosis and referred us out to (equally amazing) specialist for monitoring. It's incredibly reassuring to know we have her on our team <3
Does not listen to concerned parents. Is dismissive, doesn't consider all possibilities. Child ended up in ICU following bloodwork/appointment 3 days later. A phone call from this Dr. shared they got some bloodwork back and weren't concerned on one condition. I said I know we are in ICU with their diagnosis. All ICU Dr's and our new Dr were astonished they had not been diagnosed as they were a "classic case" and a simple in house test would have diagnosed the day of our appointment. Dr Deleo has been our doctor for our children for 32 years. He was the physician for the first three that we had, and now for our adopted son. Best pediatrician ever. Do not hesitate, go to Dr Deleo.
