What an odd experience. I went into Liquorland Cobblebank with my 12-year-old sister-in-law and was refused service because she apparently pointed at a bottle. The staff member immediately assumed I was buying alcohol for her, despite me explaining that I was not. What I genuinely don't understand is being told that I could simply come back tomorrow and buy it instead (with attitude, but I guess not directly toward me). When you order a specific wine and they replace it with a yellowtail?! For the same price. Tasted of ribena could not drink it.
Went there today 29th Dec at about 5.30pm to buy 24 of 6 packs of guiness, I could only find 4 cans in the fridge. So I went up to the counter to ask the staff, I stood in front of 3 staffs casually talking among themselves and ignoring me looking at them for nearly 20 seconds. So I simply left and bought my drinks somewhere else. The store had 3 staffs and 1 client (me). I feel sorry for the owner.
