Im 18, Tried to walk in with my 17 year old sister to purchase some drinks, cashier refused to serve us because my sister didnt show ID even though she wasn’t purchasing any alcohol. Apparently we “were already caught on camera” for what? legally entering and trying to purchase a drink? There were other families in the store with children the height of my leg, why weren’t the children also ID’d? Other liquorland store 5km away gave me no issues.

7:20 pm on a Saturday night the burwood store is closed. If you have a liquor store inside a supermarket that's open til 10, why Close the liquor store. Website says 9pm on Saturdays. *Edit - oh yeah once I was just finishing up my transaction, a young couple came through the checkout with a 2 bottles of wine. The female cashier carded the man (who was the only one of the two making a purchase, and I think was 20yo. Then she carded the girlfriend, who didn't have id, and didn't need it.
