I was a client here and I was discharged for smoking too close to the building in the pouring rain and having a friend drop off birthday gifts to my 5-year-old daughter on her birthday. They discharged me at 4:00 in the afternoon expecting me to find some place to go, DCF then removed my 5-year-old and I was placed into a family shelter the very next day. I lived there for 9 months with my kids. Could have went without some of the staff but a big thank you to Kandy. She helped me get threw the hardest days. Other then her I did my recovery myself and am still sober today. I'm 17 months sober and have my family back because I wanted it.
I am a Proud graduate of this program! (2015) I have my son Today because they helped me through some of the Worst times in my life.
