Did not listen or care. Did not even see me after my surgery and I did not even know if it was successful or not. No bedside manner at all. Appeared to be just looking at my chart for the first time when we met, assumed a lot of things, and talked over me when I tried to correct her information. Had not even seen my xrays! Thank God for nurses. Would not recommend her or this practice. Mn Urology is the big game in town, but the Edina office is a joke.
I had bladder repair and hysterectomy several years ago. She is professional, thorough, and caring.
I have seen Dr. Sitnikova for years for incontinence issues. I have nothing but positive things to say about her and the nurses and staff. However, be aware that Minnesota Urology has recently started required all patients to prepay for any procedure they have done here, even before submitting it to your medical insurance! They make an estimate after talking to your insurance company. You then have to be reimbursed for what you over paid, once your claim is processed. She certainly seemed competent. When having a ureter stent removed I was reminded though about urologists that are in a hurry. Not always the most pain free. In, out, no real explanation of much of anything. I'd say her bedside manner was good, expect she is so quick and without emotion or connection that she doesn't really have one.
I was not comfortable with her. She did not come to talk to me after surgery and when I called the day after lithotripsy surgery no one called back, I had to call the second day to get a nurse to return my call. I had 2 stents removed and she never told me that after that procedure "60% of all people have moderate to severe pain for several days. " this is info from the internet, i gave up trying to reach the Dr or a nurse. Overall, I felt like a procedure, not a person. I do not recommend her.

Dr. Sitnikova is decisive and well-versed in female urology. Many male urologists have told me my problem was just a natural part of being female. Dr. Sitnikova immediately told me something was not right, ordered some tests, and quickly came to a decision that would be best for me. My problem is still not sorted out, but I am working with Dr. Sitnikova one step at a time. Her support staff and those at the front desk are efficient, friendly, kind and understanding.
