I had a terrible birth experience at this hospital. Just incompetence after incompetence. My baby went into distress due to the decisions made by the maternity clinic doctor and there was no doctor available to do my emergency c-section. The resident on staff called 3 on-call doctors and not one of them showed up. I had to sit there and push for 3 hours with a distressed baby until Dr. Donnelly (God Bless her, she was fantastic) became available to do my c-section. Received excellent care! All doctors and nurses were exceptional. Only comment would be to incorporate wireless fetal monitoring
From the beginning of my pregnancy, all the way until delivery and into the postpartum unit, we had the most amazing experience with the maternity clinic and labour and delivery at LGH. All the doctors were phenomenal throughout my pregnancy, and Dr. Mary Glen who delivered my baby was knowledgeable, caring, and looked out for our best interests. The day and night nurses were also fantastic and very helpful. We had a great experience and are so thankful.
We are so grateful to the Lions Gate Maternity Clinic, all the incredible doctors and nurses for the exceptional care we received throughout my pregnancy and during the delivery of our baby boy! The delivery process was handled with such compassion and expertise, making us feel calm and confident every step of the way We truly appreciate everything you did to help us welcome our little one into the world!
