As far as the living conditions and care provided to residents, this facility is great. The environment is clean, organized, and well-maintained, and the residents seem to receive quality care. However, from an employee perspective, the work culture can be very discouraging. The staff tends to form tight cliques, which makes it difficult for new or part-time workers to feel welcomed or supported. This review is for Lion's Gate Assisted Living. I helped a friend move and settle in last November. It was not an easy transition for this individual. The staff (nursing, activities and even management) has bent over backward to help him adjust. The facility is clean and the activities schedule is full and varied. No one likes loosing independence but, if you have to move a loved one somewhere, I believe Lion's Gate is one of best.
