What a great little gem of a spot to cool down. It is a little too "weedy" for my liking. The Lions could do a little more with maybe a work party to help clean up.
This “beach” is COVERED IN POO. SO MUCH POO. You get to the waterline and BAM piles and piles of dog shiot. 🤮 Never been more disgusted with a public “swimming” area in my life 😭🤮
Let me just say we LOVED it. Coming straight from Olson Beach, we appreciated the clean and clear water. The sand was clean and there were umbrellas to block from the sun! Were there geese? Yes. Did they ruin the experience from their filth? No!! There was even beach volleyball, a playground for the kids, bathrooms, and something to shower off with! AND it was FREE. All in all we recommend!
