I found the some of the dishes I ordered (anchovies and bread, shishito peppers, olives) to be very oily. I am unsure if that was my fault - but I got tired of all the oil in these dishes. I got the pasta which was very basic and simple - I wish there was more flavor. Still good food and amazing service! I do have to say, a $28 martini is an asinine price. That is an INSANE price point. I know they do martini mondays but holy smokes.
Great spot, nice staff, pricey food, automatic review bomb for hidden service charge. Just change your menu prices. Shameful.
Lioness is a fantastic addition to Phinney Ridge. Great wine, truly unique and delicious dishes, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Everything feels thoughtful and well executed, I am already looking forward to coming back.
Food was very tasty. We were celebrating our anniversary. Got there early since they don't take reservations for small parties, and we were happy to learn they had happy hour pricing even on the weekend. 4 stars instead of 5 just because of the value proposition: a little pricey (even with 20% off for HH). Maybe a bit more than it was worth, but it was lovely for a special dinner!
