We ordered a dozen large crabs steamed for a birthday dinner. What we received were crabs overcooked or reheated and reheated. The meat was stuck to the shells and dried out and about half the crabs were void of meat, paper white shell crabs not the large we paid for, these were trash crabs. We have bought crabs here before and were satisfied, not this time. I ordered 3lbs of their JUMBO LUMP CRABMEAT and noted that they ship FedEx 2 day. I received 3 plastic containers that appeared to be back fin lump and not JUMBO LUMP. Only two defrosted ice packs with the containers bouncing around. Very poor packaging. I opened one of the containers and the crabmeat smelled like auto fumes and tasted oily is the best way I can describe it. I opened the 2nd container and was blown away by the awful dead fish smell. I would give them a zero if I could. In their world customer is never right. They have been in the business way too long to be willing to keep their customers happy. Ordered fresh oysters from Linton's on 2/25, paid $19.95 for Next Day Ground shipping, and in the Desired Delivery date field wrote 2/27/15. I put my office as a delivery address so that I will ensure having them on a safe and cold place after being delivered.
