They threw these metal locks in my grass, one was no where near the electrical box they were working on, so clearly didn’t just accidentally drop it but intentionally threw it in my yard. The people who answer the phones regarding outages and billing are rude and incompetent.

As professional as a utility can be. Service is consistent, and very easy to get a human being on the line if you ever need to call.

they decide to cut our power without warning. Seems like the power goes out every 2 days and they can never give me a straight answer why it keeps going out. I work from home for a living and I simply CANT have this happen. This is detrimental to what I do for a living, absolutely insane how much we pay for this shoddy electric co. thats doesnt work half the time.

Linn County Rec are scammers, unprofessional, and money hungry. They will charge you the remaining balance of the last tenant that lived in the unit. So whatever the balance was, they expect you to pay it. If you live in a small house, apartment, or condo- they will charge you the equivalent of having a 5 bedroom house. They will charge you 50% increase after 5PM, so when you are at home you will be charged more. Everyone in the office is also uneducated, poor customer service skills. If you can switch to Mediacom, do it. If... read more
