Terrible treatment from GP no respect no patience to words patient.
Stay clear of this place if you're looking for a job! Writing as an ex admin employee who's lasted there a year, I should've left much sooner so please save yourself time and nerves. The management picks on staff, is very unprofessional, creeps up on staff to make sure they're working (really) and will be extremely unhelpful when it comes to aggressive patients either leaving you on your own, coming up with excuses about "being in the meeting" or delegating it to someone else. Very unhelpful reception staff. In order to get an extra week of medication for a holiday I had to ask for an early release of my repeat prescription about 5 times on 3 different days. All that was required was a phone call to my local pharmacy. Why is it necessary to cause people stress in a busy festive period?
My fiancee called this morning the practice, after waiting half an hours in the queue, he got through to the receptionist who asked him to describe his symptoms. He said he has a cough and bits are coming out when he's coughing, his nose is blocked and running, has head ache, and she has told him to go to the pharmacy and hung up. How is this acceptable ???? Are taxes paid so that when you are sick and call the GP they hung up on you and send you to the pharmacy to pay for your medication because they could not care les? I w... read more
I gave Links medical practice 5 stars for the whole team Receptionists who have been friendly and very helpful Carol (nurse) on my appointments with her for bloods etc has been very kind caring friendly and helpful with lots of advice and listened to what I had to say Kirsty Hillary Faye are 3 of the most friendliest smiling caring nurses who always have time to talk and listen even though it's just in the passing.we are lucky at Links to have them Dr Gairn Davidson Has been very understanding caring always willing to listen... read more
