Super clean, quiet and serene. Although we were on the go much of the time we were quite comfortable here.
Painted Quail is a beautiful and clean home with all of the comforts and amenities needed for a relaxing getaway. The outdoor space had so many seating areas for different views of Lamoka Lake. The top level felt like we were sitting in a treehouse. The location is perfect in between Seneca and Keuka lakes (about 15-20 minutes to either) for access to restaurants, wineries, hiking and other attractions.
I, along with my sister and friend, spent 6 glorious days at Crane Cove. The house and property were even better than advertised! The house was equipped with everything one could possibly need, from the kitchen to the bathroom. There was a free-standing fireplace which warmed us on cool evenings and ceiling fans for a nice breeze when temperatures rose. While the indoors was lovely, the outdoors was spectacular. Beautiful cottage with all the amenities. Peaceful location to sit by the lake.
The place really was magical. Lots of places to hang out and enjoy our reunion, and the solitude. I do want to acknowledge the stairs. There are over 90 of them from the car to the lake. It was doable by everyone in our group, but it should be shared in the future so folks can plan accordingly.
