I like this place. I've been here many many times. Its definitely gotten way better. One of the main reasons is Mei the manager. She runs around and checks up on every table and makes sure the host is doing their job correct and it's fast and running smoothly. She makes everyone around her happy. Anywas.. I had high hopes for this restaurant and unfortunately it just didn't hit the mark. We joined the wait list for a table and about 30 minutes later we got a call our table was ready, we returned and checked in and were seated with menus. We waited abiut 25 minutes before a server came over and brought us waters. We placed our order at this time as we had already been waiting with menus for nearly half hour. I have been going to Ling & Louie's for well over 5 years. And never since been there until late seen such a group of people on the same page. They were all working hard and at the same time made the experience there one of the best I have. One particular manager, she said her name is May, she was wiping down tables, taking orders at the bar and even seen her back on the line in the kitchen. We have dined at Ling & Louie's Wildhorse Pass Location for many years. About 2 years ago the restaurant seemed to be struggling in comparison to our prior year's dining experience. But good news! Great staff, great service and great food is back! We dined on 5/3/26 and Lena was our waitress. Fantastic service and attention to the customer. Their Thai Mai....not Mai Thai...is just that...not a Mai thai...and nothing worth wasting your money one sip and returned...did not know how you could possibly make a rum drink that bad...I thought it was just me...but the evil jungle princess was even worse..I'd rather go 4 days without any food before I sickened myself with eating that food....boxed it up...will give it to employees to taste just to make sure my taste buds aren't off.....but horrible stuff...never...ever...gonna give a 2nd chance
