She is the best
Dr. Chong is a wonderful doctor ... who – rightly – was HIGHLY!! recommended by my primary doctor. My thyroid issue is a bit complex, yet Dr. Chong ever so patiently explained the tough-to-penetrate diagnostic tests word-by-word until I understood. Same with regard to the future treatment options. Quite generous with her time & encouragements, she's an "A+" ... as is her principal assistant Daphne.
Terrible bed side manner, zero listening skills. She comes across as someone very irritable who hates her job and her patients. Maybe it was a bad day or maybe she had a terrible childhood. Whatever it is, I am never coming back to this practice, just had an awful experience talking to this doctor for 15 minutes. Ouch. No thanks!
Don’t be fooled into thinking that Dr. Chong is accepting all new patients - she is NOT! I need help switching from compounded to regular pharmaceutical thyroid meds, something my primary care doctor is not comfortable doing, and Dr. Chong refused take me on as a patient. While she may technically be accepting new patients, in reality she is picking & choosing which ones are worthy of her time.
Dr. Carolyn M. Chong is a skilled technician with attention to detail and is the endodontist you want if you have to have a root canal. I’ve had several root canals and by far Dr. Chong has made the experience pleasurable. First, the staff for scheduling and reception are warm and helpful.
