Bought a used engine from Ralph which I would never do again or recommend anyone to ever do! Received with missing parts and damaged! The engine was a 2002 115 hp engine that had "230" hours on it. Ralph's crew was to take the gearcase off and ship the motor ready to take a 20-inch shaft. His crew took the gearcase off but left the extension in the power head along with not putting all the bolts back into the cowling, not providing the steering arm, not providing the clips for the shifter and the throttle. Vinny did an awesome job. Ralph the owner is a great guy, and really helped me out. They work very fast, and will help out the best they can.

Ralph and his crew were great I had a lower unit problem he took care of my issue fast and his lower unit mechanic fixed the problem great guys will use again and recommend to all.

My experience with this company was very poor. They are very expensive, the wait was very long, and they ended up charging me for problems that did not even exist. My brother is a marine technician and has made this clear to me. Avoid this place of possible. The employees smoke in the shop!

This place was the only one that took on the challenge of fixing an older (1982) outboard that came with a boat I recently inherited. After another place told me it was only good for parts, they took a look at it, and said it was fixable. After a few hours of use, I was told to come back and have the power heads torqued down. While using it, the engine developed a problem with the tilt mechanism that may or may not have been there when I brought it in the first time. This place is the worst - they charge a lot for sloppy service and will not stand behind their work nor honor their warranty. We have had lots of problem and would never recommend them to anyone.

We went to Lindenhurst Outboard 2 years ago to have our boat repowered and it has been nothing but a headache. The engine started having problems within a few months and we've spent thousands to have it fixed. Our mechanic said it is now basically useless. Lindenhurst Outboard has been extremely difficult to deal with throughout and refused to take any responsibility. Go elsewhere - they are incompetent and dishonest.
