Dr Hunt always takes the time to listen, ask questions and carefully considers all aspects of my health. She keeps amazingly detailed notes and explains well what we need to consider for making decisions together. The staff is helpful and efficient and once established as a patient I am able to see her timely when needed. She is always on time so I don't have to wait around in the office, yet I have all the time needed when with her, there's never a rush.
I would has been a new patient for Dr. Hunt. But I had to call and make an appointment and I was not handled the way I used to be being handled with a staff. Trying to get an appointment the girl I talked to was so so rude. That I changed my mind and went to a different doctor.
I waited 4 months to get in and upon calling to confirm time of appointment, was informed it had been canceled! No notification at all though the man on the phone said I was called and they left a message! A specialist... waited 4 months... and was canceled without notification. Very VERY unprofessional!
Posting this on 6/27/24 as a caution to future patients. I was told on the first phonecall to this office they accept my insurance. They sent a new patient packet and I returned it. They called later saying they lost it. Resent second new packet and I filled it out and resent it. Asked them if I was good to go two days before the appointment date. Arrived to appointment. Gave me a third packed to fill out in office. They lost the second one I found out when I got there. Filled out third packet. Turned it in. Man at the desk ... read more
I started seeing Dr. Hunt after my rheumatologist retired. I was having flares for over a year and small nodules developed on my knuckles. My former rheumatologist was hesitant to change my medications, humira and methotrexate were no longer effective. Dr. Hunt stopped humira and prescribed rinvoq along with a prednisone burst. The results were amazing. I highly recommend Dr. Hunt.
