Horrible doctor. Botched my surgery and made lasting effects. I had to eventually get another surgery to try and fix what was messed up. Also horribe bedside manner and lied about diagnosis. I should have never let her do my surgery. My case was obviously beyond her realm of expertise but she would not admit. Do your research beforehand and don't bother.
Dr. Mathison did my colposcopy. 10/10 experience with her. She talked me through it, although uncomfortable, it was pretty painless. She was sweet and professional.
I was recently seen and that was my first and last time going. I've scheduled an appointment with her because I was instructed after a visit at the hospital to see a GYN. My appointment was 3:10 and I wasn't seen until after 4 p.m. . She did not review my records at all that was given to her before my appointment. When I tried to show her a picture of the main reason I was being seen I was told that "It was unnecessary and she can't stand the sight of blood". It’s been 21 years that Dr. Mathison delivered my daughter and 2 years after my son. She is amazing, always smiling, caring, great personality, will always give you advise. It’s too bad that she’s no longer in Danbury. May God bless you and you beautiful family Dr. Mathison
