I am amazed by Dr. Cendales expertise, empathy, and the incredible ability she showed in reconstructing my injured hand. I had an accident with a hatchet where my base knuckle was injured, extensor tendon was severed along with an artery, ligament, and veins. She performed what could only be described as precise miracle reconstructing what was damaged. Her bedside manner was so kind, comforting and calming. My experience with Dr. Cendales is the single most traumatic thing that has ever happened to me medically. I expressed my concerns regarding the procedure and professionalism to a member of that care team and was not given the opportunity to give feedback directly to the doctor. I was not followed up with regarding coming in for my post-surgical follow-up, which I feel is because they knew that I would give negative feedback to the team at that appointment. Dr. Cendales is an excellent doctor. Her bedside manner is extremely empathetic and understanding. She listens to her patients. I have dupetrynes contracture on both hands. I had been unable to wear my wedding ring for over10 years. Ring finger and little finger on left hand were completely bent down to my palm. Other hand not as bad. She performed surgery on both hands at separate times. It has been over 5 years now and I am extremely happy to say both hands are in great shape and I can wear whatever rings I want. I went to her for a second opinion on my left hand I had surgery that left a tendon in middle of my hand and I wanted to know what could be done about the it. She said I had 2 problems one is the middle of hand and 2 nd I have rheumatoid arthritis in my fingers but we had to do middle of hand first and then we would help my fingers. I really did like her and she answered all my questions. I have another appointment in January
