I wanted a local bank but this place is a mess. The new online platform is awful. To call and speak to a person you need to leave a message and wait for them to call you back. I felt that was wildly inconvenient and not very modern. They batch out transactions slowly or less often than other banks. I had to wait days for things to post from big chain stores that I had never experienced a wait with before. I'm not sure if that was a glitch in the transition to a new online platform or what. After almost 10 years with this bank I fell in hardship for about 3 months and my bank account was overdrawn the entire time. I had just recently gotten a new job so I was in between pay periods so I had to wait almost a month for paycheck. Due to my account being overdrawn for 3 months, I had asked for a $1500 loan just to make account active and get me buy until my paycheck.
