It was very eye opening and gave me a new outlook on how to handle my depression and problems. The staff and medical, and professional employees were excellent.
If you are a parent that loves your child and wants them to get better, do not send your child here. I was admitted here 2 years ago in a unit for 4 months, and to this day I am recovering from unprocessed trauma that was kindly given to me during my stay here. Larinda, the unit manager, had 0 empathy for me and the other children there who were abused and neglected before admitted there and therefore their behaviors were different from her absolutely absurd “standards” for how teenage girls ages 12-17 should act. Please do not send your child here, Lincoln trail should be shut down. I was seventeen when I was told from my CDW worker that the louts program was a two month stay, it was four. It may not seem like a long time, but it is when you are treated so poorly. Yes some of the staff had good hearts, and made it livable but overall it made things much worse for me. soon as you walk in you get a book of rules thrown at you, biggest one that stood out to me was you couldn’t speak. and i honestly just couldn’t believe that they could ... read more
Staff were awesome! I was very happy and blessed to have the care and support I did. The little things that were done for my care was such a blessing. I am forever grateful for there help and support during a very scary and difficult situation. Thank them all so very much!
If this place wanted to help they would. But all they want is money. A friend was there everything was good..as soon as they release her, no longer would do anything and because they didn't give her a release to work note she lost her job..its all about money and they don't care what they cost you..never go to this place
