LPS transportation is such a joke! This year we were, yet again, given a horrible driver and para. They are both extremely rude and condescending. The sub for the bus driver today is the same way. They have no business having a job around children when they can't handle them. There's no respect for the children nor parents. When I called transportation to report what happened, it got blown off...again..as this has happened several times in the last several years with us being in LPS. I am a bus driver and work with wonderful people.
The bussing managers intentionally put my son at high risk of having tonic clonic seizures due to high temperatures repeatedly over the past couple years. He has epilepsy and heat induced seizures. Even after the neurologist sent a letter in saying he needed AC medically to reduce his risk of having a seizure. The school continued to put him on a hot bus. They claimed they could not guarantee that one bus out of over 100 would have working air. Um, what? I asked if they would send a bus to pick up a child in a wheelchair tha... read more
