I felt comfortable from the beginning. The approach was thoughtful and personal, and I appreciated how much attention was given to my concerns.
I would like to highlight the owner of this practice in my review. Although I did not meet with Dr. Wax for therapy, it is clear that her therapists and staff are developing from her clinical perspective and values around client care. She takes time to place clients with the correct match for therapy to set everyone up for success in their goals. All therapists are supervised by Dr. Wax to ensure the best quality of care, so if you are looking for a practice with high standards for excellence - Lincoln Park Psychology is it.
Always so helpful! Great with kids. Warm supportive atmosphere. Highly recommend for those who need a little extra help.
I have experience with several clinicians at this practice and they are, by far, the most approachable group of docs I’ve worked with. If you’re looking for a practice where you’ll be treated with kindness, professionalism, and genuine compassion, this is the place. Both of my children (8 and 16) have been seeing therapists at this office for almost a year. I can say that after working with several practices in Chicago and other states where we lived, this practice is the most welcoming, understanding, and hard working group of people.
