My experience with Discovery Square and its management company, Grady Management, has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. Similar to the post below, I also had a guest’s car towed last night. Since April, the parking rules have changed and the HOA now controls parking spaces that should rightfully be designated for the apartments. There are only about 20 spots available for the entire apartment complex, and now 2 out of the 4 sides of our square-shaped building are off limits for both residents and guests. I’m extremely disappointed with the management at this apartment complex. Before having guests over, I made a point to ask the office staff specifically where guest parking was allowed. I was told, very casually, that guests could park “anywhere around the building.” Based on that, we parked our guest’s car accordingly. To our shock, the car was towed — a frustrating and expensive experience that could’ve easily been avoided with accurate guidance. Was told a unit was available, did all the paper work, wasted money on a notary, etc only to be told the unit is actually not available. Then they raised our hopes by saying another unit is available then hours later getting a call saying never mind. Everything happens for a reason though because now we have secured another unit at an actual luxury complex so it worked out.

I wish I could a minus star but one star will have to do. I applied for a unit in this complex and their approval process seemed as tedious as you could possibly imagine. At the end, I decided to cancel my lease and they took all my deposit and application fee. They have tons of hidden fees that you get to know about after you submit your application. They are truly there to to get you. So watch out.
