Do your homework and don't pay him until you receive your appraisal! A knowledgeable friend recommended us to David Wilson, DBA Lincoln Appraisals. David seemed like a nice man, knew his stuff when timely making his appointment and took a ton of photographs. Unfortunately, he's never followed through and delivered a report, in spite of telling us he'd mailed it already. Now he is not returning phone calls. I too did my homework and had David come and do an appraisal, yes he seemed like someone you could trust. I have yet to get my report it has been since the Monday before Thanksgiving he did manage to cash my $150.00 check. I have left several messages and emails with no response. I will be contacting Washington Co. DA to file fraud charges.

I too checked reviews on this person and could find nothing negative so I had appraisals done on two sets of dishes before our move and paid him for both. One had to be done immediately so it could be shipped and the other was to be sent to me at our new address out of state. The appraisal for the shipment was delivered but nothing close to the value it should have been worth. The other appraisal has never been received.
