Driver rude and used the phone even thought I asked him not to do it while he was driving us. He then asked for a huge tip.
Do NOT use this service. The worst!!! Took car from Newark Airport to NYC to drop my colleague then continuing to Stamford, CT. As we got in the car the driver (who barely spoke English) said "Stamford". I said NYC first. He said no. I said yes. He then argued with me that it's not on his app amd i have to call his company. . We booked Carmel Car and Limousine Service to transport my family (5 people) and my aunt's family (4 people) to transport us from the airport to the hotel when we arrived, and from the hotel to the airport when we had to go. The first trip our car arrived but our aunt's car ended up coming late. We went in our car while she waited and discovered that the drivers was extremely rude. I phoned Carmel LImo and tried to book a car ride from the Upper East Side to the Yankees game Saturday; to avoid the dangerous subways. The two operators with whom I spoke, Christine and Andrew, were rude, dismissive, and clearly not New Yorkers. Shameful. I used to look up to people who took car service, and took pride in becoming one of them.
