I hired Troy Mendoza to do my house exterior and it was a very bad experience. He ended up quitting and not finishing the job after spending over 2 weeks working on it. Over that 2 week span though he actually only spent 2 whole days. It was suppose to be a 4 day job. He doesn't have a dedicated crew and hires whoever he can find regardless of skill level. I hired Troy Mendoza to drywall kitchen ceiling, drywall 1 wall, then paint. This took 8 days. The job was poorly done and now I am hiring another company to repair his mistakes. They did not take extra care to minimize dust, paint splatters,’tracked mud and dust throughout my house. Missed areas. The ceiling drywall cracked and the tape has peeled. Didnt finish the job. Overspray on windows, hardwood floors, many paint drips, rough or gritty feeling of paint to the touch. Didnt finish painting trim around sliding doors. Canceled floor tile installation due to dissatisfaction. Clean up was spotty. Had to reinstall wall switch plates myself. Broken glass light fixture. Workers quit in middle of the job. Left the job to start another job with another client. He is more interested in the money than his craftmanship.
