Maybe I’m a massage snob, but this was not a great experience. I called looking for a massage and they got me in within an hour and a half — I was happy about that, since I was dealing with a lot of neck and shoulder pain. When I arrived, the facility was clean and the people were cheery… however, it smelled like dinner (my appointment was at 7:30 PM). Not exactly a spa. I went in for a massage because I had a couple of knots in my shoulders that needed to be worked out and were leaving me feeling uncomfortable. That was the entire reason I booked the appointment. I called before to make sure they could do a firm massage, and the woman on the phone told me that would be fine. As it turned out, the woman I spoke with on the phone was the same person who gave me the massage, so she already knew that I was specifically looking for firm pressure.
