I visited this Dominican salon on October 4th. Since I had just gotten extensions from the shop next door, I decided not to wash my hair and only asked for a blowout. When I arrived, they asked if I could go to the lady in the front, but the way they asked made it feel like no one ever chooses her. That should’ve been my first red flag. My hair stylist is Leidy who is very knowledgeable, professional and great actitud.the owner Amarilis greets everyone with a smile. Good prices. I’m very satisfied!
Overall I’ve had okay experiences at this salon. I’ve had some unnecessary comments here and there that I did not appreciate. However, the salon is nice when you need something quick or want to pay for convenience. I can say that the very first time I went, there was a terrible smell that would not get out of my hair for months. However, I was training my hair to be straight natural and get used to heat.
