AWFUL FOOD – The first time my wife and I went there for dinner, the food was okay, ie safely mediocre. The last time we went, the food was awful. I'll eat anything and have (ever hear of bulot?), but the curry was just MSG in a brown broth, the salad had obviously been sitting around a while, and the Thai ice tea tasted like somebody else's backwash. I'd rather eat the jambalaya from an MRE before I'd ever eat there again.

Best UES Food....yumz in my tumz....delish!!!!!!!! – My best friend had reccommended this place to me and I'm a big food lover. I must say that the food here is superb, especially the PAD THAIS. Along with the Lychee martini and the boba teas....yumz! I love the quick service and the warm-friendly waitstaffs. The decors are so springish and summery,,,,,very lovely. Later that night when i got home I had called my best friend and thanked her for suggesting this wonderful experience. I now had spread the word out and even my c... read more

Horrible Delivery Service – The delivery service is truly horrible. We waited ONE HOUR for our food when we only live 4 blocks away b/c they took down the wrong address. Then the delivery guy claimed to not have any change. After waiting an hour, we weren't giving him a 20 for a $14 meal. He refused to give us the food and come back with change, so he just left with the food. We spoke with the manager who wasn't the least bit apologetic - (1) not for us waiting over an hour for the delivery, (2) not for sending a delivery gu... read more

I PROMISE, AVOID FOR YOUR LIVE! – EVEN THINKING ABOUT IT MAKES ME SICK! after reading your reviews. WE ordered dinner from LNS&G & YES they delivered as fast as a flying creature...LITERALLY!...As we were eating from the rice container my husband spooned out the mos horrendous creature we have ever seen (& I have seen many growing up in NYC!) from the rice....I have never hear my husband scream as he did last night. We call them and they pretended no to understand my husband's English accent nor my American one! We ran to th... read more

Best delivery service on the UES – The food at Lilis is amazing and their delivery service is remarkable. Everytime we order from Lilis the food seems to be at our front door before we hang up the phone! The food is fresh and the portions are large. The only draw back is the bad service when dining in. The staff will make you feel rushed and barely pay attention to you...take my advice and order in.

Try lunch for cheap first. – We take the subway to frequent this place. Chinatown meets the UES. You can do lunch on a weekday for around $5 if you pick the right dishes (sm. hot & sour soup and a roast pork bun were about $4.75). The food is great and the portions of the entrees are large. We love the crispy chicken with scallions and ginger. I'm a serious sucker for the buns listed in the appetizer section: big, fluffy, feels like true sustenance. Iced green teas aren't the best deal ($4 a glass), but I do like the apple-s... read more

An Upper East Side Gem – A true gem on the Upper East Side. The tofu dishes are all great, and definitely try the steamed vegetable dumplings -- as good as Chinatown's, albeit at a higher price.
