Incorrect Diagnosis. I was put on the max dosage of Keppra at the time and after five years of being on it, my parents had reached out to other doctors for more testing. After a tilt table test was conducted we were able to pin point what is the issue and prescribed correct medication. It’s unfortunate, I would highly recommend further testing prior to this medication.
I saw Dr. Cantor twice over the weekend for my 5 year old daughter who is a heart patient experiencing intense headaches and vomiting. She was admitted for this in particular as it has been ongoing since August. The times she came into the room my daughter had been medicated and was in a cheerful mood. I had a great experience with Dr. Liliah Cantor, MD, in Pediatrics and Neurology. It was such a relief to find a doctor who does not require several months to get an appointment – even during Covid lockdown. Dr. Cantor really knows her stuff. Her notes about the diagnosis were a lifesaver when it came to dealing with the insurance approval. If you're looking for a pediatrician and neurologist, I highly recommend Dr. Liliah Cantor.
I went to see Dr. Cantor with my son a few months ago and the experience was horrible. I wouldn't have been able to tell that she was a pediatric neurologist based on her interaction with my 4 year old, or should I say, lack thereof. She barely acknowledged him or spoke to him, and acted more annoyed by him than anything, rubbing her temples as if she had a headache and looking overwhelmed by him.
