Lila feels like the restaurant where a lot of the originality, warmth, and emotional intelligence of early Vij’s resurfaced after Vij’s itself evolved into something larger and institutional that is - frankly - resting on its laurels. 15/10 experience!! Food: dynamic flavours- fun interplay between the flavours, plus each dish amazingly balanced textures…visual presentation was above average for the cuisine. Drinks: Excellent wine pairing! Beautiful and refreshing cocktails! Service: genuinely caring, competent while still casual Atmosphere: loved the garden with its herbs and unique flowers Special thanks to Emma and Jennifer for a fun experience tasting so many dishes and drinks!
We had a lovely dinner here. The food was so delicious, the server was great and really warm, and I loved the lush little back garden. I would absolutely return again.
Service was absolutely amazing as well add the atmosphere, the food was very tasty but I found the portions and the high price we paid were extremely small with more sauce than fish or meat with only a few pieces for $30 I don’t think I would return unless the portions were bigger
Patio seating is beautiful. Food had good flavour. 10/10!!
