Absolutely horrible customer service and untenable, customer burdened business practice. A suspended light shade was ordered and delivered without issue. Upon delivery, the shipping box and light shade were promptly inspected and no visible signs of damage or defects were found. Three business days after arrival, the shade was attached to the provided hanging cord for installation. I would avoid placing any orders with this company as it appears that they are happy to charge you, but they don't actually ship the products that are ordered. I placed an order on 11/3 for clear floodlight lenses (my credit card was charged immediately) and the website stated that it would take 19 days to ship. Online status showed they were supposed to ship on 12/3, but that day came and went. I tried three separate times to get help with the status of my order, but nobody got back to me. Awful company. Cheap fixtures for exorbitant prices. RUN FROM THIS COMPANY. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Awful experience with lights that arrived and looked nothing like what was on the website. I am now paying a $600 restocking fee for a $2k order. RIDICULOUS and AWFUL.

I love to shop locally and am have always admired this Chicago based company as I drove by it’s show room. I recently bought lighting from them and from start to finish had only negative, non responsive experiences with them. First I was estimated to have my lighting delivered in 3-5 biz days. When 7 biz days passed I tried several times to call. No one ever answers the phone and there was no possibility to leave a message. Second, I tried emailing. I ordered and received a lamp from Lightology but need to return it. I notified Lightology on May 30th of that fact (one day after delivery of the package) and they were going to send me a return slip. I did not receive a return slip. I have since contacted the Company multiple times with lots of promises to send me the return slip or lately to make arrangements with *** for a pickup but nothing is happening.
