Upfront, honest, and GREAT at communication. A powersports dealership ending their manufacture partnership was a blessing in disguise. I was upset thinking I’d have to go to Anchorage for everything, but not only is this closer to home, but it’s the BEST service I’ve had for motorcycles. I tell everyone I know with a motorcycle that they need to come here. Trust earned and lifelong customer established.

While traveling far from home, it was truly a relief to discover such an excellent shop like Lightning Motorsports located in the North Pole (Fairbanks Area) of Alaska. Great service! James had my DR200 and TW200 running better than they ever have. He picked up and dropped off the bikes, was courteous and punctual, and kept me updated with photos, texts and emails. Would recommend to anyone who wants to feel confident their bike is in the best of hands. Just back from a trip to Vancouver, Hyder, Dawson City, Top of the World Highway, Chicken, and Central. Nearly 5,000 miles. The DR had no problems and we had a great time. Thanks again James.
From Virginia to Alaska and back on a motorcycle. I contacted James prior to the start of my trip about what services I anticipated needing during my trip, to include tires. James provided me with a written estimate, and we agreed on a date for service. Services were performed to the highest of standards, the price was more than reasonable, and my trip was a success. Oh, and while he's working on your motorcycle, go visit the Santa Shop in the North Pole. What an experience!
