I recently went for a WOF and car service, but my left headlight beam was misaligned, causing it to fail. The mechanic suggested replacing the entire headlight unit for $920 as the alignment element was broken. Seeking a second opinion, a different mechanic simply fixed the issue by re-fitting the light bulb and adjusting the alignment, charging nothing (it took no more than 10 min).
